Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

My sister passed away. My other sister and I cleaned her apartment and removed all of her things. A friend of hers wrote a check to the landlord for the security deposit and my sister (the deceased) payed her back for the deposit check. Who is the landlord legally required to return the deposit to.

Unless the Lease provides other wise, your sister's Estate is entitled to the money. I'm sorry for your loss.
