Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

vehicle transfer

I sold a used car to an individual in Jan of this year. I gave the title and a hand written receipt to the buyer. He did not want to take posession right then because he wanted to change insurance companies. I was told he would be back in a couple days to transfer the title over to him. I have contacted him on several occassions to transfer said car. Each time he told me he would do it in a couple days, and never called me or showed up. The last time I talked to him was May 30 and was told he would meet me at the tag and title place. Needless to say he never showed up or called. He has no answering machine and all calls I make are long distance. How can I force him to take posession of this vehicle. It is parked in my yard and my landlord is complaining about me having to many cars. I can not leave it on the street because the inspection, registration, and insurance are not up to date and if towed i have been told that since it has not been legally transfered I would be responsible for the towing and storage. This is strange but true. Any help with this matter wold be deeply appreciated, I live on a fixed income with limited funds.

Re: vehicle transfer

it sounds like you have a breach of contract claim. Is it worth suing for? You should probably sell it to someone else.
