Legal Question in Immigration Law in Pennsylvania
I came to the U.S. in 1978 (age 4) on my mother's passport from the Phillipinnes so I do not have a passport of my own. I now want to travel out of the country down the road and was going to start the naturalization process for the U.S. but am worried about the "good moral character" section since I have had two DUIs, one in 2007 and one in 2008. I hope to have all the probation and house arrest taken care of before the end of the year but the problem is I am still waiting on the monitoring device from the county. Is it worth it to even apply at this time?

I understand that you are a lawful permanent resident (green card holder), is that right?
You may want to check and see if you are already a US citizen by virtue of your parent's naturalization. Is your mother a naturalized US citizen? If yes, when did she naturalize, and how old were you at that time?
