Legal Question in Immigration Law in Pennsylvania

Can a Canadian citizen who was previously residing in the U.S. under an F-1 visa re-enter the country as a visitor without obtaining a new visa? If so, does the time he/she spent in the U.S. under the F-1 during the past year get counted as part of the cap on the amount of time he/she be in the U.S. as a visitor?

Yes, if admissible, she can enter as a Canadian visitor for pleasure. No visa is required for Canadian citizens.

No, time in the US as a F1 student doesn't count towards time allowed as a visitor.
