Legal Question in Immigration Law in Pennsylvania

I am a U.S. citizen expecting a child to a Canadian citizen in October 2010. We will not be married, but he would like to live and work in the United States to help support the child. He has a bachelor's degree in education. Would he be eligible for any kind of immigration, such as a green card?

He might, provided that he has an American employer who is willing to petition for him. Easier options could be TN visa, H-1B visa, etc. Gren card through employment is not a fast option and not very realistic for a teacher who is currently in Canada. Since you don't plan to marry, you can't petition him for a green card based on marriage.
