Legal Question in Immigration Law in Pennsylvania
Hi i live in uk and i have us green card from July 2008 then we visited us in July 2009 now this year i have to enter in us before 8th of July 2010 but because of my childrens higher studies in university exam we not gona make it untill end of July 2010. I like to have some advice on how to apply for two year extantion on greencard? is any other option for my children to complet theit education in uk without loosing their grrencard?

To apply for a reentry permit (valid for 2 years), an applicant must be IN the United States. You can't apply if you are abroad.
Please keep in mind that absence of one year or more can be viewed as abandonment of the permanent resident status in USA.
The children can simpy travel to USA before it's been more than 6 months and/or more than 1 year.
In addition, don't forget that as a permanent resident you are required to file taxes in USA with IRS every year, even if living abroad.
