Legal Question in Immigration Law in Pennsylvania

out of options. please help

Hello, and good afternoon. I'm 22 years and I came to the United States 8 years ago illegally. I filed from citizenship in 2004, but my request was denied because they needed some form document to show that I came here. But the problem was that I came here in an another persons name. A friend told me another way I can gain citizenship is through marriage. Is there any other way or options available. Please help me. Your opinion will be gratefully appreciated.

As no amnesty bill has been passed by congress, unfortunately the case now is that if you've entered the United States illegally, you will not be able to gain permanent residency or subsequent citizenship through any means while present in the United States. The only way to obtain permanent residence would be to return to your home country and file for your green card (permanent residency) through an offer of employment or a U.S. citizen or permanent resident family member, or alternatively for a Visa you may otherwise be eligible for. However, upon the discovery of your illegal presence in the U.S., you will be subject to a multi-year bar of entry in the U.S.
