Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

breach of contract

I was hired by a charter school to be a Special Education teacher, that is what my contract says. However, they are going to make me teach college level English now for one period a day. The contract states that it can be terminated at any time by either party with 60 days notice. It does not state any consequences for breach of that contract. I may be able to take another job. What could happen to me if I just ''fly the coup'' and don't give any notice? Also, according to this contract I am still on probation. Help! Thank you.

You asked about breaking a contract for employment.

You really need to have an attorney review the actual contract to give you advice. It is probably worth the fee in order to prevent you from making a potentially costly mistake.
