Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

treated unfair in the place of work

How can a place of work fire someone who has a year and a half into the place, and not give an explanation. The person was a supervisor and NEVER was written up or even in trouble. Then they say the person can't even collect unemployment. Is this fair or right?
