Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania

breaking a lease

Is it true if you get a new job so many miles away from your current apartment you can break your lease with minimal losses(i.e. lose your security deposit? Or can you be forced to continue paying rent even if you move away?

Re: breaking a lease

No....a residential lease is a contract, one that you signed and will be held to, if you violate the terms of said contract then be prepared for a possible civil suit.
