evicting common law husband

Am i legally obligated to give my soon to be ex a certain time frame before vacating the condo. that I own? He claims I have to give him a minimum of 30 days notice is this correct? If so, can I just write up a statement and have it notorized. And what happens if he still refuses to leave?
