Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania

I didn;t do my homework before purchase

I bought a mobile home in Moosic PA. The home is on a rental property. My first week there a sherrif came to the house and made me sign an Order for Possession. This states the family who sold the house had to be out in a week. I contacted the land owner and he said the prior tentents owed 1200.00 or 6 months worth of land rent. I offered to pay it but he said it wouldn't be that easy. The prior tenent wasn't suppose to sell the home and it was court ordered. When I purchased the home there was a title and turned over in the proper manner and the title will be mailed to me. I am not sure where I stand am I obligated to pay prior tentents rent. Can I lose my home. Do I need a lawyer?
