Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania

have been leasing a property for 15 years and was ordered by the court 5 years ago that i had to purchase it . just was able to come up with the money , but the court ordered 5 years of interest . what about the payments i have been making on the property the last 5 years ? aren't i entitled to that money ?

It sounds like you signed a lease-purchase agreement. If so, the provisions of that agreement should prevail. If the agreement provides for interest payments, then the judge was probably right. this is a situation where you should definitely consult with a local attorney to determine what your options are, and whether you should appeal the judge's order.
