Essure procedure

Can I sue a doc who botched putting in an assure coil. She was running late that day and was frazzled, and even apolgized to me for that. Now I have to have surgery to remove it and tie my tubes. Could she be held liable for this?

What do you mean by botched? What connection is there between the proceedure and the present plan for tubal ligation? Failed placement of an intrauterine contraceptive device requiring surgical removal can occur. Was the iud causing symptoms? Have you considered and has your doctor recommended any alternatives to tubal ligation.
