Legal Question in Personal Injury in Pennsylvania
auto accident
On 8/1, I was rear ended while at a
complete stop at a red light. I was
driving a 4 door blazer and was hit by
a Firebird and was pushed off the
road and rolled onto my driver side.
My car was totaled at $5,500 and
my meds come to $4,260 and lost
wages $240. I am trying to work up
an amount for pain and suffering as I
have full tort. I suffered an acute
lumbar and cervical strain and
bruises, abrasions and small minor
cuts.

Re: auto accident
Are you all better or do you still suffer from accident-related medical problems? Severity of injuries as well as length of time somebody suffers are 2 factors to consider when determining how much a case is worth. The most accurate way to predict how much a case would be worth would be to conduct an analysis of the outcomes of all similar cases in your jurisdiction/venue. If you're unable to do that, you may want to meet with somebody who, because of his/her experience, has a better feel for it. There is no formula.

If you try to do this yourself you'll probably end up getting less than you deserve. Contact an experienced injury attorney in your area.
