3 day right to cancel a rental apartment
do you have three days to cancel an apartment lease contract....Or does it apply to a sale only?

You asked about a right to cancel a lease.
Generally a landlord must provide a prospective three days in which to cancel a lease IF 1) s/he owns and rents four or more units, and 2) the tenant has not moved in. Once the tenant moves in the right, if existed, is gone.
Whether or not that particular right exists depends on the laws in your particular locality. You should also check to see if the landlord includes it in the lease.
