Will the filing of Chapter 13 bankruptcy petition prevent or delay an eviction notice?

Because of the atomatic stay of all civil procedings that accompanies the filing of a bankruptcy petition, eviction procedings are stayed. However, if the landlord files a petition to lift the stay it will be granted for future rent.
