forclosure

my brother skipped town and didn't tell me and my mother that he didn't pay the morgtage for months and in about 2 moths were getting evicted but my mother and i want to take over the morgtage but he won't answer his phone we love the house and don't want to lose it,can you give some advice.

It is impossible to answer your question without knowing who owns the property. If your brother owns the property he would have to convey it to you and your mother. Of course you would need a new mortgage to pay off the one in default. I recommend that you consult an attorney.
