rehabbed home having problems
I bought my house just over two years ago (by owner). Since then I have been having problems that could not have been detected through inspection (pipes rigged with duct tape etc..). There was an extension built onto my house by the guys that filpped the property and there are definite construction issues. I'm finding water running down the inside of my walls where the extension and deck were added. Is there anything that can be done about the guy who did the flip (remodel and sale)? He absolutely had to know of the construction shortcuts (he and his brother-in-law did the work) and they were hidden pretty well...

The seller of the property most like gave you a disclosure at the time of sale. Look at this document if information was not disclosed in that statement and you can prove the issues existed you may have a claim for failure to dislose, misrepresentation. There is a two year staute of limitation. When did yoiu discover these issues that were not disclosed the staute may run from that period in any event speak to an attorney immediately
