Re: sheriff sale

It sounds as it the mortgage company was the purchaser at the Sheriff's Sale.

It will have to get a court order to make you vacate. Rather than waiting for that to happen, you should be talking to the mortgage company and discussing your need to stay through the end of the school year. You will probably also have to arrange to pay a rent for staying in the property. You would have to pay rent anywhere you will move, unless you move in with family.

Best wishes.
