Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Pennsylvania

Adult/Minor relations

I'm sorry for putting this in the wrong place, but here it seemed most appropriate. Someone from Florida asked this question back in April I saw, but I want to know Pennsylvania.... It is legal for a 16-year-old to date an 18-year-old as long as it is platonic, correct? And does the same go for a two year age difference as with 17 and 19?

Re: Adult/Minor relations

In Pennsylvania the rule is 14 + 4, 15 + 4. That means a 14 year old can have a relationship with an 18 year old; 15 with a 19 year old. A 16 year old can have a relationship with any age. That is.....there is no statutory rape charge in these scenarios. However, an overly zealous prosecutor COULD charge someone 18 or over with corruption of the morals of a minor....just not with statutory rape.
