Legal Question in Traffic Law in Pennsylvania
reciprocity between New Jersey and Pennsylvania
Nephew (New Jerssey resident) is student at PSU. He was recently pulled over for failure to stop at the end of an alley (3 point violation in Pennsylvania). A point violation adds a hefty insurance surcharge in New Jersey. If he pleads guilty and pays the fine will the Pennsylvania violation be reported to New Jersey?

Re: reciprocity between New Jersey and Pennsylvania
PennDOT is requireed by law to report convictions to other compact states which includes New Jersey. With a Lawyer many officers will reduce traffic citations to a no point offense. The money spent defending the ticket can be paid back in insurance savings rather quickly. I offer free consultations.
