Pennsylvania will statue of limitations

Is there a time frame in which a will must be read and distributed in Pennsylvania?

Despite what you see in the movies wills are seldom if ever "read" to the beneficiaries.

The driving force to get wills probated, that is filed with the Registrar of Wills is that the estate tax is discounted if it is paid within 6 months.

Some wills are never probated. For example a will where on spouse leaves everything to a surviving spouse and all the assets are in both names.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
