Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Pennsylvania
My wife's father passed away over two years ago. Her older sister is the ex. of the estate. She has nothing to do with her two sisters for years. There is a buyer for the house with deposit. The lawyer who co. ex. says he is waiting on the sister. My wife really wants this to be settled. The sister lives in Ct., we live in Fl and the estate is in Pa. Is there anything we can do to get this settled?

If the executor is not doing her job then your wife, as beneficiary of the estate, should hire her own lawyer to light a fire (figuratively, not literally) and make inquiries. If that does not get the executor moving, then your wife can ask that the executor be removed from her job and ask to be appointed instead.
