Try a local legal stationer, they often have preprinted forms that contain basic provisions. Also, if you have access to a computer, there are will software programs available in office supply stores, at a relatively low price, that provide documents and questions to guide you through the process of creating a will.

If your resources qualify you for Community Legal Services, give the office in your county a call, or try your County bar association which may have a referral service to attorneys willing to provide services at a reduced or no fee.

If you are still legally married, your husband could make a claim against assets in your estate if you have no will.

It is wise to have a will, no matter how rich or poor you are. You should also have an Advance Health Care Directive, appointment of a surrogate to act on your behalf with respect to medical decisions and care, and a durable power of attorney that enables another person to act on your behalf if you are incapacitated.
