Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania

Am i intitled to any type of payment without actually sueing?

1. Make sure you promptly report the injury and that it happened at work, to your employer.

2. The employer has to promptly report it to its WC Ins Co, which has 30 days to determine if it will accept or reject your claim.

3. If accepted the ins co will begin to make "voluntary" payments

4. If claim rejected you will need to present a worker's comp claim petition (similar to suing) to enforce your rights. You should consult an experienced WC lawyer if that happens. Call me if you need help. Good luck!!

You don't ever actually "sue" your employer. You are entitled to certain benefits under the law. My job, as your lawyer is to make sure that you get all the benefits that you are entitled to.
