Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania
light duty
hello, I was hurt at work in a slip and fall...I have been on W.C. for2 months...Now the wc dr. said I am ready to back to work...well i went back this sat. and sun... my whole body hurt i have a cervical neck sprain and a closed head injury.....what is my lawyer to do for me?? I have one...he said I need to find a dr. that will state the pain I am in...This is bad...I do not know what to do...I thought a lawyer was to help you...this is sad also..i am in tons of pain and i can hardly do anything and this dip of a dr says well you can do light duty...where are my rights...how do my lawyer fight for me ..when does he start to fight for me thank you for your answers

Workers' Compensation is always a battle between an insurance company doctor and the injured worker's own doctor, if the injured worker can find one. If the injured worker does not have a doctor willing to provide a report saying that he or she is unable to perform the work, then there isn't much a lawyer can do.
