termination after extended leave

can I be terminated because of an extended leave (more than six months) after surgery due to a work related injury

Now way. Such a discharge wouod be illegal. You should have some good documents between the hospital and thw workers' comp insurance papers. Hire a dedicated Workers' Comp counsellor.
