Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania

What should I do

I have been on w/c since 3/04,from being pinned on a truck. I applied for ssd and reciving to date. I have had 4 spinal fusions and have cronic pain. I hired an atty. to help with w/c to pay med bills. There is a 3rd party riff suite in suite where I got hurt at on the truck,I dont know much about. I recived a 25% whole body rating. I am being pressured in to settleing ,before the 3rd party. he is talking about a strucherd settlement with no future med, w/c pays about $900 a month now in pain med+ dr visits. Is w/c required to pay for med after 500 weeks? Can I change Atty. in Pa. ? Because I dont think he is for me.I am only 36 yrs old, and have more bad days then good. I am condering and a canadate for a morphaine pump but due to 25% whole body how would I pay for it in 500 weeks. He cant tell me if and how my ssd will be affected. mistake #1 he had no experince in SSD. Should I change Atty. how hard is it? And also I wont recive no $$ fron the 3rd party case do to I have been on comp for over 2 yrs. But does he? HELP

Re: What should I do

Get a second opinion, but don't let you lawyer know you are doubting her.

Get a lawyer who is a member of the Workers' Comp Section of the commonwealth's Bar Assoc.

You have an absolute right to change your attorney in Pennsylvania, and get a second opinion. The other questions can't be answered without a full consultation.
