Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania

once injured if i have visited family doctor first , do i HAVE to see the ''workers comp'' doctor first. I was told i cannot see another physician for 90 days. Also, it's a back injury. No MRI was ordered by workers comp doctor, just x-ray. that will not show any soft tissue damage. Also presicribed pain medication even though my family doctor told me to stay off certain pain medications because of being on high blood pressure medicine. The kind of pain killer he presribed goes directly against my family doctor's orders. Do they have the right to tell me not to seek any other medical attention even if its covered by my paid for health insurance. And with a back injury, will i have any recourse in the future for any mis-diagnosis of back injury by the '' worker's Comp'' doctor?

for the first 90 days, the insurance carrier pays for treatment with itslisted doctors only. there is nothing to prvent u from treating on your own dime with the doc of your choice.
re medecations, the carrier's doctor may be loyal to them even if disloyal to you. such drs may portray you as a narcotic-seeking Druggie if it suits their Master's interest. Such dr owe no duty to patients, only to the ins. company which hires it for its forensic aptitute (as opposed to healing abilities).
thus, comp drs cannot be sued for malpractice. if u were hurt by them u can only get continued WC. no one knows that or they would never vote for otherwise likable Republicans; but I digress.
