Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania

Workers Compensation

I am being denied workers compensation after being on it for a month my letter says: Although an injury took place, the employee is not disabled as a result of this injury within the meaning of workers' Compensation Act. I have been inalot of pain with my back coming and going can't sleep at night cause of it, never felt pain like this and it happened on the job. I haven't tried to miss work cause I need the money to pay bills so what do I do.

Re: Workers Compensation

1. go to a list doctor who is an orthopaedic specialist. 2. have that doctor indicate on a prescription slip whether you may return to work, should only work reduced hours, take off for complete rest, do physical therapy, or any combination of the above.

i understand that you have not missed work because you are a trooper. seems like your medical bills are being paid no problem. should you begin to lose time from work, then your will need to file a Petition through a lawyer.

so Lawyer up (if all goes well with the doctor). expect to pay a 20% fee for monies recovered.

good luck.
