child support

good day.

i want to know..about filling case for child support to the father of my child. my baby is 1 yr and 7 mos. old.

his father sends 1kg of milk and 24pcs of diapers every 15th and 30th day of the month he said thats all he can give.

we're not married but i gave his name to my daughter.

my ex live in partner is a school permanent public teacher and he's 28yrs old.

i am 25 yrs old and still studying.

do i have the right to ask for child support?my baby is growing and milk and diapers are not enough for her needs and his father told me that he will resign to his job once i filed the case against him.like he was threatening me like no job , no support!

pls.. help me. i need your advice

If you feel that your child needs more support and the natural father can still afford it, then you should go ahead and file an action for support. In any event, the court will rule according to the needs of the child and the capacity of the father to give additional support.
