Can VA Disability and Social Security Disability pensions be divided and part awarded to the spouse in a divorce?

In Puerto Rico you cannot divide disability pensions when liquidating the marital partnership, these are personal entitlements and therefore are not subject to liquidation. If you need these pensions for your own sustenance you should request an alimony decree from the divorce court.
