Legal Question in Immigration Law in Rhode Island

getting a visa for my husband who entered th u.s. ilegally?

i need to know what steps to take and or what process to initiate paperwok for my husband to get a visa or residence card ( green card). he entered the united states ilegally two years ago, what do we need to do first????

If I were you, I would file a petition for immigrant relative. Be aware however that even if the petion is approved he will not be allowed to change status from the U.S. and that he is likely to encounter problem at the Consulate.
