Legal Question in Personal Injury in Rhode Island

i was in a car accident a week ago. someone hit me broard side. i was pulling out of a side street onto a main road. i stopped at my stop sign looked to make suer all was clear. a car stopped to let me out . as i pulled out a car in the other lane hit me. i got a ticket for not making sure all was clear.( code-034) and she was driving on an expired lic. can i sue her or anyone? do i have a case?

Under RI law you have a case even if a judge or jury decides that you are more than 50% at fault. Your damages are reduced by your fault. The questions remaining include what your case is worth and what % of fault you have. A conviction of the ticket will not help you.
