Legal Question in Bankruptcy in South Carolina

property after filling bankruptcy

i filed bankruptcy about a year and a half ago. i filed a section 13 so i am repaying my creditors back. i listed a vehicle when i filed, so that was included in my bankruptcy debt. now that time has passed and we are having children that vehicle is no longer practicle and we would like to sell it or trade it in on a larger vehicle. I would like to know is that possible or am i stuck with this vehicle?

Re: property after filling bankruptcy

You must obtain permission from the Trustee to incurr new debt. File a Motion and go to the hearing to present your case.
