Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in South Carolina

time-share

recently we went to the beach. while there we attended a seminar for a time-share. What started out as a 90 min. session ended up being an all day affair. I kept trying to tell them that I didn't want to do it , that I wa afraid i was getting in over my head etc. They just kept at me , with one deal after another , offering to pay closing cost etc. Until I was so confused I didn't know which end was up. We were taken on a tour , left in rooms and hallways, shown this film and that brochure , and be the end of several hours we were exhausted.

Anyway, before I knew it we had bought a timeshare in a hotel that had not even been completed yet.

After returning home, we realized that we were not going to be able to handle payments on that , on our home , and all the other bills we had. Is there anyway we can get out of this?

Re: time-share

In some cases, yes, but only if there's been a violation of federal or state disclosure law. You also have a three-day right of rescission. It's imperative that you take ALL documents to an attorney in your area immediately, so that you don't jeopardize your rights further.
