extortion, coercion,blackmail

''A'', has contract with ''B'' to provide money for ''B'''s support. ''B'' and ''C'' rent part of their primary residence (owned by

''A''). '' A'' states if ''C'' does not sign a management contract with ''A'', ''A' will suspend distributions to ''B''.

''C'' refuses to sign contract because of terms.

''A'' suspends dist. to ''B''.

Criminal or civil recourse?

Sorry, but no attorney in the world could render a legal opinion based on the extremely vague set of fact that you have given. I have no idea what type of contract it is, what the legal consideration is, whether C has anything to do with the contract, nor do I have a clue what renting has anything to do with it, etc. All contracts have to be interpreted by reading the entire contract. Take the contract and have an attorney review it, then ask your questions. Good luck.
