Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

1994 Tennessee divorce decree states that child support stops at 18 years of age. The child has been living in South Carolina with his mother since 1999 and South Carolina law states that child support must be paid until child graduates from high school.

Will Tennessee divorce decree be enforced in a South Carolina Family court?

SC law also states that child support ends at 18, but MAY be continued until graduation from high school. If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.SpartanburgLawyers.com). I wish you the best of luck.
