Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

I just went through a divorce and part of the decree states that Iam to get 50% of his 401K. My attorney has been avoiding me for awhile. i spoke to him recently and he said this is not part of his job. How can I pursue getting my money without an attorney. I don't have money to pay another attorney

Typically 401k allocations are done via a QDRO (Qualified Domestic Relations Order). You will almost certainly need to have an attorney assist you with this process, as it ranges from complex to very complex.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
