Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

My GF and I have been together off and on for several years. When I found out she was pregnet we stopped the on and off and I have been working really hard to make things work. My daugter is now 9 mths old but my GF is becoming more and more aggressive, controlling and flat out scary. If I leave, what are the chances of my daughter being able to live with me, I do not want to be a week end dad. We live in SC. I am an Operating Partner in a restaurant, great work history, with no record of any kind, no issues in my life. Can you please help me know what would be the best steps to take or since I am the dad do I not have any rights to my child? She has 2 other children from 2 other men that I have raised for the past 3 years. Thank you for any advise or words of wisdom that you may provide.
