if i missed my court date but i pay what they told me to pay before court date will i still have a warrant?

First, I will have to assume that your court date was for child support and not for a ticket or some other reason.

If: 1) you were behind on child support; 2) you were served with notice of a Clerk's Rule to Show Cause; and 3) you did not appear at the scheduled time, then it is likely that the Court issued a bench warrant for you. This is true even if you paid all of the child support before the court date. I strongly recommend that you meet with an attorney to discuss your situation. Your attorney will find out if you have a warrant and may be able to help you take care of the warrant by coordinating your arrest and hearing before a judge. If you are brought in on a warrant at random you may spend 4-5 days in jail before you see a judge to let them know that you had paid your support before the hearing. Good luck!
