Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

Over night Paramour

In my seperation agreement it stated no over night paramours due to the fact the my ex was having an affair. The seperation agreement was incorporated into my divorce decree. I know that over night paramour mean illect lover and illect mean not permitted but what constitues someone not permitted? I am engaged to be married and would like for my fiance' to live with us. But is he an over night paramour? I have been divorced for a long time, no one has ever spent the night when my son was home. But I find it hard to beleive that the court would actually state that someone you are engage to be married to is an illect lover. So what is an illect lover? A one night Stand? someone you have dated for a couple of months. Or is it ever unitl you are married?

Re: Over night Paramour

Your order probably was issued to prevent any overnight stays of persons of the opposit sex while the children were in the home.

If I am right as to the language of your order, until your marriage, you should not allow any person of the opposite sex to stay overnight with you. If you do the order will be violated and you will be subject to contempt charges by the court.
