Any good lawyer would never attempt to answer a legal question without completely understanding the situation. Otherwise its possible to render bad advise and I'm sure that is not what you want. A lawyer would need to know what sort of agreement you have. Was it oral or in writing. What did the agreement say about delinquent payments. Who's name is the title in? How much was it sold for, how much was put down and how much is owed. These are important questions. Your best bet is to go sit down with an attorney who can ask all of the necessary questions in order to give you all of the important information you will need. Good luck.
