Legal Question in Immigration Law in South Carolina

My friend came to America from the Philipines on a fiance visa. The guy ditched her and left her here. Going back to the philipines is not an option. Im in love with her, can I marry her here?

Yes, you can marry her. However, no, she will not be able to stay here legally and apply for a Green Card through adjustment of status. That would be a problem because of her coming to USA on Fiancee visa with intent to marry another US citizen, and not departing the USA within the authorized 90-days period when they decided not to marry.
