Is there a time frame for which you have to go to the doctor after an accident?

Not really. But the sooner you go the less problems you will have with the insurance company. All damages have to be medically document, which is what really counts.
Re: Auto Accidents
There is no "required" time frame, but the longer you wait the greater the chance that the insurance company will not want to pay the expenses. They look for "gaps in treatment" and use those to deny claims.
It is important that you consult an experienced attorney to find out what your rights are and to guide you through the process. If you do not, you will likely end up with less money because the insurance company has an advantage over unrepresented persons.
