Legal Question in Personal Injury in South Dakota

Stoppping a Prescribed Burn on National Grasslands

How can I stop the Forest Service from doing a prescribed burn on our grazing allotment on the National Grasslands? We have had one of the driest years on record, grasses are damaged if burned during drought conditions, will be burning woody draws, juniper trees, 40% of the ground slopes having greater than 10% grade

You may need to try and get an injunction if you have exhausted all your administrative remedies (i.e., public meetings, appeals within the forest service, etc.) Sounds like you may need to act quickly. My firm also has an office in Rapid City. Thanks for your question, let me know if we can be of assistance.
