Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Tennessee
Credit Card Debt
what do you do when you have gone through chemo and radiation, lost job, had to sell home, exhausted all funds. Finally got a job making 7.00 hour, haven't had enough money to file bankruptcy and haven't had enough money to pay them. Now they are telling me they are going to file lawsuit. I am homeless, staying with people in my church, have a car and a storage unit to my name that is it. What are my options?

There are attorneys who can get you court fees waived and will do your bankruptcy at a lower price. Some even let you pay month by month. You may also try to contact the Legal Aid Society. I know there is an office in Nashville.
