BURGLARY is entering a structure without the permission of the owner and with the intention of comititting theft or another crime inside the structure.
For example, it is BURGLARY to sneak inside a garage to steal tools, or to go into a car (even an unlocked car) to try to steal anything.
If the place is a "habitation" (a place where people live; whether a house, an apartment, or even a tent) then the crime becomes AGGRAVATED BURGLARY.
