Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
Worthless Checks
I think I may be in trouble with 2 checks deposited from my friends account into my account. They both bounced and each are over $500. I don't manage money well and need to know if I should contact a lawyer? My friends account had enough to cover one of the checks with his bounce protection, but they didn't pay it so now it will bounce on my account. Can I be charged with a crime as I got the money from the checks in my account.

Re: Worthless Checks
I do not understand your fact pattern. If you are charged with an offense, contact a lawyer immediately for representation. If you are charged, you may contact me through my website at TennesseeDefense.com for a telephone consultation.
